The Winning Miller Experience: Cheese, wine and Nicole

Walking into Miller Wine Works, you’ll be greeted by wines, an irresistible deli full of meats and cheeses and Nicole - Miller Wines’ wine aficionado.

Who are you?

I am Nicole. I've been pouring wine for Miller Wine Works for about a year. I love my job.

What's your favorite wine?

My favorite wine is the Miller Wine Works 2013 Petite Sirah. It reminds me of blackberry cobbler (even though the tasting notes are boysenberry and black pepper) it's so smooth.

When you're not pouring wine you are...

Cutting cheese, writing the Newsletters for Miller Wine Works and Sutter Creek Cheese Shoppe and handling other social media duties. I'm always learning something cool or meeting someone interesting.

Favorite wine quote?

"Grenache is French for goes with everything" Grenache is just a tasty wine.

What do you love most about Amador?

I love the mountains. There are few places more beautiful than Amador County. The wineries just add to the beauty.

Open Daily, 10am - 5pm. Stop by to say hi and enjoy a wine and cheese pairing.
