Poetry and Popcorn - July 6
A relaxing event with poetry readings, wine, and popcorn crafted especially for the evening. Enjoy the Yorba patio with poetry readings by Jeff Knorr, former poet laureate of Sacramento and author of 4 books, and Albert Garcia, featured in literary publications nation-wide and author of 3 books. Ann Kraemer has created some fun and unique popcorn and wine pairings to snack on throughout the evening. With nationally recognized poets, Shake Ridge Ranch wine, and exotic popcorn flavors, this will be a memorable Sutter Creek evening.
Picnic on the Patio and a Show - July 18
Yorba is working with Sutter Creek Theater and Taste Restaurant to treat Amy Helm attendees to a quaint Sutter Creek experience. Grammy winner Amy Helm is on tour for her latest album, This Too Shall Light. This album blends Americana, country, blues, and gospel music to really pull the listener in. Make reservations at Yorba for dinner before the show. Taste Restaurant will cater an exceptional picnic meal to be enjoyed with Yorba wine before the Amy Helm takes the stage. Delight in a gourmet dinner then take a stroll down Main Street to enjoy the show.
Concert on the Lawn - August 17
Close out summer with a concert on the lawn! Enjoy flame grilled cuisine by Woodfired Smoke of Sacramento, the eclectic, soulful, funky music of Sean Carscadden and Yorba wine. The Shake Ridge Ranch lawn will be a perfect setting for the contemporary meets old soul music of Carscadden, expertly prepared barbecue, and, of course, Yorba wine bringing everything together.
