Sutter Creek Provisions
Set inside the historic 145 year old Soracco building, Provisions is a family-owned specialty food store and bottle shop on one side, with a tap room and live music venue on the other.  Stop in, choose a few items from the deli case, and Casey will make up a platter to nibble on while you enjoy one of their beers on tap. Taste Restaurant

Just a short drive from Sutter Creek, Taste is a James Beard recognized, Zagat-rated, Wine Spectator of Excellence awarded restaurant. Phew. The awards are as plentiful as its cuisine. Although the menu is constantly changing- providing healthy, flavorful, seasonal meals based on the county's bounty- the one dish not to miss is their signature Mushroom Cigars- a delightful mix of crimini, shiitake, oyster mushrooms, fresh herbs and goat cheese wrapped in phyllo. Buffalo Chips is an all american cafe serving farm fresh food in a modern rustic atmosphere. They specialize in homemade burgers, french fries and milkshakes. Open for breakfast and lunch, plus Friday and Saturday nights for their Burger Bash! 

 

Munnerlyns' Ice Cream
Offering the only hand-crafted frozen desserts in the Motherlode, Munnerlyn's is worth the detour to Pine Grove. Delicious, soul-satisfying and good for the environment - all of their cups, spoons, and straws are bio-compostable, plus they get 75 percent of their power from the sun!
